80” Land rover for sale |
1949 lights behind grill 80”. Originally
supplied to the military on 19th Dec 1949, this land rover has had
over £12,500 spent on it in 2003, since then it has done approx 150 miles. Restoration
was carried out by Steve Parker Land rovers, and includes a fully recon 2
litre engine, recon gearbox, all new gauges, new seats, new steering box,
recon steering wheel, new springs, etc etc. It would benefit from a bit of
attention to the paint work, but overall a useable Land rover. Comes with
approx 10 months MOT, on an age related reg number. |

REAR CAPSTAN WINCH |
Rear
PTO driven capstan winch for sale, this unit bolts to the PTO on the rear
cross-member. It would require 2 new bearings but other wise is ready to bolt
on and show. I
also have a rear PTO that can be bought separately to drive the rear capstan,
along with the gear selector and output drive for the gearbox, (I don’t have
the propshaft) I

1948 Land Rover Series One For Sale In barn-find condition, having been stripped for restoration years ago. Chassis Number R861469, one of the first 1500 built along pre-production lines. Loosely assembled for the photograph, but quite original early spec throughout with most numbers being correct (only the block is slightly later, even the cylinder head is correct). Early pre-production-type bulkhead and body-mounted gearlever as original. Heritage Certificate showing build date as 17th December 1948. Call or email for further details. |

Perkins prima, breathes heavily but starts perfectly and runs cleanly when warmed up. fitted with dudleigh conversion kit. all old mots, tax etc plus 2 folders of information and reciepts. mot till november 27th, will fly through next one. nearly everythig rebuilt. useable vehcile Full mot and tax, drive away. lots spent as it was going to be driven to croatia but due to the worn engine and keeping up with some discos its been shelved for my 110. leak from the front diff and case join (new gasket needed) brush painted green and ivory new pedal shaft and bushes new s2 master cylinder good chassis and bulkhead recon gearbox, s2 type (1st noisy still due to a gear being reused) new brake shoes all round new clayton heater, nice and hot! 7.50 tyres michelin XZL loads of tread plus recently painted wheels, spare in the back. k and n filter bonnet bolts and clamps new electric fan on lighted switch temp gauge and lighter socket fitted s2 indicator fitted rebuilt short coloum steering box, recirculating ball wright off road sound matting under bonnet sound proofing parabolic springs and longer front shocks new pair of front perspex windows defender drivers seat halogen headlights new original type freewheeling hubs varoius other new parts. lots of spare include: diesel bellhousing for fitting original diesel or prima. worm/nut steering box hoses box of gears/ s1 type gearbox case diff halfshafts |

1,997 Liter, 52 PS, Originalfarbe Bronzegreen (grün), inkl. 2 Hardtops (1
kleines und 1 großes) Original Motor und Getriebe sowie orig. Fahrzeugpapiere
vorhanden, 3 Vorbesitzer, davon 2 Feuerwehren. Ich habe das Fahrzeug im Jahr
2002 gekauft, und liebevoll und aufwändig in den Jahren 2002 bis 2006 total
restauriert. Das Fahrzeug wurde bis auf die letzte Schraube komplett zerlegt
und neu aufgebaut. Dies wurde umfangreich mit Bildern dokumentiert. Folgende
Arbeiten wurde unter anderem durchgeführt: Der Rahmen wurde sandgestrahlt und
neu lackiert, hohlraumversiegelt Der Motor wurde komplett überholt,
ausgehohnt, Ventile eingeschliffen, neue Kolben u. Kolbenringe, neue Lager
usw. Das Getriebe wurde überarbeitet. Das Differenzial sowie die
Antriebsachsen wurden restauriert Ebenfalls überholt bzw. neu kamen Starter,
Lichtmaschine, Verteiler ... Das Bremssystem wurde teilweise erneuert (neue
Bremszylinder, neue Manschetten ...) Die Elektrik wurde größtenteils erneuert
Die gesamte Karosserie wurde sehr aufwändig restauriert, lackiert und
teilweise blauverzinkt. Bei der Restaurierung wurde besonders darauf geachtet
originalgetreu zu restaurieren. Nicht Original ist der Verteiler, Blinker
vorne sowie Rücklichter und Heckklappe (wurde originalgetreu nachgebaut).
Sämtliche Altteile wurden und werden in Kisten aufbewahrt. Seit der
Restaurierung bin ich max. 150 km mit dem Fahrzeug gefahren. Da der Platz in
der Garage langsam nicht mehr ausreicht, muss ich mich schweren Herzens von
einigen Fahrzeugen trennen, darunter auch dieser wunderschöne, total
restaurierte Landrover. VB € 15.000,--. TRANSLATION Motor. Nr. 47130446, Fahrgest. Nr.
47130323, engine displacement 1,997 liters, 52 HP, original color Bronzegreen
(green), including. 2 Hardtops (1
small and 1 large) Original motor and transmission as well as orig. Vehicle papers available, 3 before owners,
therefrom 2 fire departments. I bought
the vehicle in 2002, and loving and costly in the years 2002 to 2006 totally
restored. The vehicle became up to the
last screw completely taken apart and newly constructed. This was documented extensively with
pictures. Following works was carried
out among other things: The frame
became sand radiated and newly was varnished, was overtaken cavity sealed the
motor completely, ausgehohnt, valves ground on, new pistons and piston ring,
new warehouses etc. The transmission
was revised. The Differenzial as well as the Antriebsachsen became came
restored also overtaken and/or newly starter, light machine,
distributor... The brake system
partially was renewed (new brake cylinders, new cuffs...) The Elektrik became very costly was
restored chiefly renewed the total car body, varnishes and partially
blauverzinkt In the restoration was respected to restore
especially on that original loyal.
Original is not the distributor, blinker ahead as well as back lights
and stern lid (became original loyal constructed after). All old parts became and are stored in
boxes. Since the restoration, I am
max. 150 km with the vehicle
gone. Because the place in the garage
suffices slowly no longer, I must separate myself heavy heart from some
vehicles, under that also this beautiful, totally restored Landrover. VB € 15.000,--. |

sidelights suitable for a 1948-51 80”. These are a copy of the Lucas lights
and come complete with bulb holders, bulbs and wiring. They are ready to fit. |

Chassis number R860690 making it number 690 and very
rare to find, has original id plate and still has original registration
number. Unique features to these early models include the bulkhead tunnel
area and fish shaped chassis legs. Has been owned for over 30 years by the current keeper
and garaged for the past 15 years, now in need of major restoration. The
original engine was removed many years ago otherwise it has its original gearbox,
chassis, bulkhead, axles and bodywork. Comes with a 2.0 petrol Series 1
engine which was reconditioned 5,000 miles ago and can be used in this
restoration if the period 1.6 engine is not available or required. Please enquire for more information on this
